Director, State Super
Catherine Bolger was appointed to the State Super Board as a Director in 2015, an industry superannuation fund managing $38 billion of public sector workers’ retirement savings in New South Wales, Australia. She is an experienced leader, with extensive experience as a professional trustee director, having served on a range of industry superannuation fund boards, and investment committees for the last 20 years. In Australia, she has led campaigns to ensure a Just Transition as we move to a net zero economy, and successfully championed the establishment of a Transition Authority.
As a union leader, she has campaigned to improve fundamental rights like safety, collective bargaining and freedom of association, and is keen to see the PRI continue to advance sustainable investment practices and standards.
